V Type ball valve, is a kind of trunnion/fixed ball, and only has one seat, not the same as ball valve, which has two seats.
But V type ball valve regulation performance is much better than normal ball valve, so it is mostly used in regulation lines. It has a shearing effect between the V-shaped incision and the metal valve seat, which is especially suitable for media containing fibers, small solid particles, slurry and other media.
Ball valves are most used as on-off and shut-off valves, but recent years have designed ball valves to throttle and control flow, such as V-shaped ball valves with developments.
