| OEM - build to print | Brand owners and OEMs who already have their own design or data sheet | Manufacture exactly to your drawings, material specification and test plan; dimensional and first-article reports; your nameplate and marking | You own the design and the tooling; NDA signed before drawings are exchanged; your design is never reused for another account |
| ODM - design and manufacture | Distributors and brand owners who want a finished product under their own brand | Our engineers develop or adapt the valve design, validate it with type testing, and release it as a product you can brand, catalogue and resell | You own the branded product and the market position; the base design and tooling stay with J-VALVES unless bought out |
| Private label / white label | Importers and distributors building a product catalogue | Standard-series floating, trunnion, DBB and welded ball valves with your nameplate, logo, colour and neutral packing, plus brand-ready data sheets | Only your brand appears on the product and the paperwork; the same marked product is not sold to your competitors |
| Contract manufacturing | OEM machine builders and skid integrators needing valve components | Bodies, balls, stems and seat assemblies machined to your drawings with dimensional and material reports on a repeatable schedule | Design stays yours; capacity and pricing held stable across the contract term |
| EPC project package | EPC contractors and project procurement teams | Valve list review, written deviation list, ITP with witness and hold points, coordinated third-party inspection, project packing and site delivery | Documentation issued in your project's format; witness testing scheduled to your milestones |

| Risk you are taking | Typical root cause | How J-VALVES controls it |
| Brand inconsistency between batches | Material or supplier changes between production runs | Locked material and supplier list per OEM programme, drawing revision control, and marking and nameplate specification frozen at approval |
| Documentation rejected at verification | Certificates issued in a format the project's document control system cannot accept | Documentation format agreed before production, ITP and MTC templates reviewed with the contractor, single document index per order |
| Delivery slippage against a project schedule | Capacity booked late, or testing scope underestimated at quotation | Capacity reserved at order acknowledgement, testing scope defined in the quotation, weekly production status reporting on request |
| Your design leaking to another customer | Drawings or tooling shared across accounts | NDA before drawing release, separated drawing storage, restricted workshop access and no reuse of customer-specific designs |
| Witnessed testing delaying shipment | Inspector scheduling conflicts at short notice | Testing windows planned with the third-party agency in advance, with photo and video records where remote witnessing is agreed |
| Hidden cost of non-compliance | Specification deviations discovered after delivery | Written deviation list before order confirmation, with alternatives and impact stated, approved by your engineering team |
| Currency and price exposure on repeat orders | Exchange movement or raw material swings between campaigns | Price validity periods stated on every quotation and stable pricing windows agreed for repeat programmes |
| Single-source supply risk | One factory, one line, one country | Two independent plants and qualified sub-suppliers for critical components, so a disruption in one does not stop your supply |

What is the difference between OEM, ODM and private label?
OEM means we manufacture to your design or specification - you own the design and we build to print. ODM means we develop or adapt the design ourselves and you take it to market under your brand. Private label means our standard series produced with your nameplate, marking and packing. Many customers start with private label, then move to ODM as their range grows, and add OEM where they have their own engineering.
