  • Q: Check Valve Introduce
    A:
Check Valve is unidirectional valve, also called one way valve, non-return valve. Because medium flow decide its direction. It has swing type, lift type(piston and ball), vertical type, butterfly type. Wafer type check valve has three types, spring return type, single disc type and double disc type. Anyway, could choose valve type according to medium, pressure and temperature. Masoneilan Valve will give you the best suggestions.

We have tried to cover all ball valve related questions but there is always something missing if you are doing it for others. So here we welcome your questions regarding the subject. Ball valves are very common and the most useful equipment in today’s lifestyle. You can’t avoid this truth as you know how the ball valves are working and they can easily fit in any space.
  • Q: What’s the difference of gate valve and globe valve?
    A:
Gate valve is bi-directional valve, globe valve in single way valve and has fixed direction when install. And globe valve has better sealing than gate valve, when globe valve close, fluid medium add pressure on disc to keep better sealing. Gate Valve wedge is parallel with flange, when close, both side fluid medium add pressure on wedge.
  • Q: What’s the difference between rising stem and non-rising stem of gate valve?
    A:
The rising stem gate valve can be seen from the appearance whether the valve is closed or open. The lead screw can be seen while the non-rising stem gate valve can not. Non-rising stem gate valve handwheel will go and up when rotate handwheel, rising stem gate valve will not. And The rising stem gate valve requires a larger installation space because of the stem; the height of the Non-rising stem gate valve is small, and it will not take up too much space during installation.
  • Q: What’s the direction of valves?
    A:
Ball Valve and gate valve are bi-directional valves, globe valve, check valve and y strainer have arrow on valve body to indicate direction.
  • Q: What are the quarter turn valves?
    A:
Ball valve, Butterfly Valve, and Plug valve are rotary motion control valves. They just need a quarter turn to come into action.
  • Q: Can ball valves regulate medium?
    A:
No, ball valves only can not use for regulating, it is a kind of isolating valve.
  • Q: What’s the medium for your valves?
    A:
Mostly are used in water, gas and oil. When inquiry, it is better to offer your medium, we could suggest materials and valves type for clients.
  • Q: How about delivery time?
    A:
Our factory is near to Ningbo & Shanghai seaport, generally speaking, export to Asia takes about 7-10 days, export to Europe, Middle East, Africa, North America, South America, etc. takes about 30-35 days by sea.
  • Q: What’s the materials of valves?
    A:
Stainless Steel, Forged Stainless Steel, Alloy Steel. Details materials requirements could consult from sales email.
  • Q: What’s the temperature and pressure for valves?
    A:
For metal seat, temperature range from -196℃ to 425℃. For soft seat ball valve, temperature range from -196℃ to 200℃. Pressure range from PN6 to PN420(150LB~2500LB).
